Tom Piotrowski, is Detroit born and bred, and has been an of-counsel attorney with The Kronzek Firm since 2011. Tom earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 1980. After working in brokerage firm for 3 years, Tom enrolled at the Detroit College of Law (DCL). During law school, Tom interned with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office and was later offered and accepted a full time position with Wayne County. During his 10 years at Wayne County, Tom tried a variety of cases and numerous jury trials. Tom was then offered a similar position with the Michigan Attorney General’s Office. Tom stayed there between 1997-2007. In 2007, Tom left the legal profession for a brief time and help run a Detroit-based fiber-optic tile company. Missing the practice of law, Tom opened his own practice in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Tom’s practice focuses primarily on criminal defense He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Washtenaw County Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association for the Eastern District. His principle practice with The Kronzek Firm has focused on criminal defense and children’s protective proceedings.
